Located on the campus of Eastmont Junior High School, this soccer field boasts one of the most spectacular views you'll find in the Wenatchee Valley. Looking to the West, paying attention to the play in front of you will be difficult with the vast view of the Enchantment Mountains in the distance and the rolling foothills of the Wenatchee Valley. Sterling Complex - Sterling Middle School - Softball/SoccerClick for larger photo Sterling Middle School 600 N. James - East Wenatchee 509-884-7115 www.eastmont206.com Plenty of youth soccer events are held on these fields in the fall. Located at Sterling Middle School, this four-plex softball layout is the result of a Grant from the Paul Allen/ Seahawks Stadium funding. The Greater Wenatchee Girls Softball Association spearheaded the drive to get these fields done. To the right you see an additional soccer-only field and behind it, a miniature putting course, developed and operated by Eastmont High School's FFA Club. Driving Directions

Wenatchee Valley's Super Oval - East Wenatchee - Racing![]() Click for larger photo Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval 3385 Fancher Field - East Wenatchee 509-884-8592 www.wvso.com Located on Fancher Heights in East Wenatchee, Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval is near the famed landing site of Hugh Herndon and Clyde Pangborn following their Cross-Pacific flight from Misawa, Japan in 1931. This quarter-mile asphalt track is one of the fastest on the West Coast of the United States. The infield is well-irrigated and cared-for grass is big enough soccer or football. Driving Directions
Greater Wenatchee Regional Events Center - Wenatchee - Arena![]() Click for larger photo Greater Wenatchee Regional Events Center This 9-acres across from Walla Walla Point Park is the proposed site for the Greater Wenatchee Regional Events Center. Public Facilities District legislation passed by the 2006 legislature allowed this project to break ground in September of ’06. The planned indoor arena will boast seating for 4,700 expandable to 5,600 for concerts. It will feature two sheets of year-round ice which will be easily convertible to host such events as high school basketball and volleyball tournaments, monster truck rallies, concerts, and, of course, hockey and skating. This project is the cornerstone of a $410-million project by the City of Wenatchee on its waterfront. Additions to Walla Walla Point Park and the Arena will be an entertainment district, condominiums and improved waterfront access. Driving Directions
City / County Parks and Playgrounds Our area offers a countless array of parks and playgrounds, from the quaint and cozy to the expansive and majestic. Many of these parks offer volleyball courts, baseball, softball, and soccer fields. All park hours are dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted. The Apple Capital Loop Trail is a scenic-waterfront 11-mile paved loop trail for pedestrians, cyclists, skaters, and others. This scenic trail can be entered or exited from Riverwalk Crossing Pedestrian Overpass, located in the heart of Downtown Wenatchee. There are plenty of free public parking lots at several locations on both sides of the river. The Apple Capital Loop Trail crosses the Columbia at the north and south ends of Wenatchee and is lighted until midnight on the West side.
